As a provider, you have the flexibility to personalize exercises for your patients, ensuring their treatment plans are tailored to their unique needs. Whether you're creating or editing a patient's prescription or building a template, you can easily customize exercises from the exercise library. These adjustments are made just for you and won’t be visible to other providers in your clinic.
Your customized changes will stay in place until you decide to restore the exercises to their default settings or make further adjustments. This allows you to create personalized care for each patient or template, while keeping the clinic’s exercise library unchanged for others.
This feature gives you the freedom to adapt exercises as needed, helping you deliver more thoughtful and effective care.
Follow these steps to customize an exercise:
- Start by selecting an exercise from the exercise library—whether you're inside a patient’s prescription, creating a template, or on the exercises page.
- Hover over the selected exercise and click on 'Preview'. This will open the exercise, allowing you to explore the details.
- Look for the 'Edit Parameters' icon and click on it. This will open the section where you can customize the exercise.
- Adjust the exercise parameters as needed for your patient or template.
- Once you're happy with your changes, click 'Save Changes'. Your edits will now be saved, and you can select the customized exercise to add it to your patient's prescription or your template.
If you need to revert an exercise back to its default instructions, it’s easy to do by following these steps:
- Hover over the exercise you've customized and click on 'Preview.' This will open up the exercise for editing.
- Click on the 'Edit Parameters' icon to enter the editing mode.
- You'll see the 'Restore Default Instructions' icon. Click on it to begin restoring the exercise to its original instructions.
- A pop-up will appear, asking if you’re sure you want to restore the default instructions. Simply click 'Restore' to confirm.
- Another pop-up will notify you that the instructions have been successfully restored.
Notes:
- Exercise instructions now have a limit of 1000 characters.
- Providers have the option to add CPT codes to the exercises as they are assigning them to a patient's prescription.
